Flexible 50 mm PTFE wire for piercings
This polytetrafluoroethylene wire is often used for pregnancy piercings and is better known as Teflon. Polytetrafluoroethylene is abbreviated as PTFE and Teflon is the brand name. The wire is not only used for piercings. But also for aerospace, for example.
PTFE wire is very flexible, heat resistant, comfortable, non-toxic and nickel free. This makes it suitable for almost all piercing spots. However, it is often used for piercing during pregnancy because of the flexibility of this wire.
This 50 mm long thread could be cut to any desired size. Then you could screw it yourself by just using a screwball. Most pregnancy piercings are 25 mm long so that they could be worn throughout the pregnancy period.
All in all, you could do anything with it. So choose the top that you like and create your own piercing!
Belly Piercing - Size Guide
Belly Piercings are easy to measure with a ruler. The bar length is measured between the bars' threading.
Measuring the bar thickness is not doable with something like a ruler. Use a caliper tool with a digital display for accurate measurements.
Despite the default thickness being 1.6 mm, some people prefer a 1.2 mm belly piercing. Be careful when switching from 1.6 mm to 1.2 mm, as your belly button piercing might heal back to 1.2 mm.

Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) was discovered in 1930 by two local chemists. What started as an alternative to glass quickly became commercialized by several companies around the globe. Nowadays, Acrylic is still widely used as safety glass, but people found more and more applications for the material.
Bioflex is the more flexible variant of Acrylic, making them ideal to wear on any occasion. Is any of your Ear Piercings painful, then a Bioflex Piercing is much more comfortable when you sleep. The fact that it is free of any Nickel and hypoallergenic allows for the material to be used for initial piercings.
Some Piercings with a bar made of Bioflex can be cut at any desired length. If this is the case, it is stated on the product page. When screwing the ball back on after the cut will create new threading.

Maintenance Instructions
Bioflex can last for years to come. It is not sensitive to any discolouration, meaning it is entirely free of any maintenance.
Before you put in your newly acquired Jewel, you can use alcohol to disinfect the piercing. We have alcohol pads and special swab sticks available to help out. If you prefer to use soap instead, that is no problem at all.
